Danielle Smith Appointed Secretary of WTS International Board of Directors

Please join us in congratulating West Region Manager Danielle Smith, PE, on her appointment as Secretary of the 2026–2028 Women Transportation Seminar (WTS) Foundation Board of Directors. The WTS Foundation advances women in transportation through scholarships, research, and leadership development. In this role, Danielle will help guide efforts to support and invest in the next generation of industry leaders.

“I’m honored to serve as Secretary of the WTS Foundation Board and support its mission to advance women in transportation through leadership, mentorship, and opportunity,” Danielle said. “I look forward to helping grow the Foundation’s impact and invest in the next generation of industry leaders.”

Danielle was installed at the WTS International Annual Conference in Los Angeles in May. This appointment reflects her leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to expanding opportunities for women across the field.

Since 1977, WTS has worked to foster a more diverse and inclusive transportation industry through the advancement of women—an effort Danielle continues to champion.
