In 2026, Lochner became Egis in the United States, marking the next chapter in its legacy while preserving the trusted relationships, local expertise, and commitment to client service that defined the company for generations. 

Founded in 1945, Beam, Longest and Neff (BLN) has provided transportation engineering services to state and local agencies throughout Indiana and the Midwest for generations. The firm earned a reputation for technical excellence, responsive client service, and delivering practical solutions that improve the safety and performance of transportation infrastructure. 

With expertise spanning roadway and bridge design, traffic engineering, construction inspection, and program management, BLN has played a key role in delivering projects that strengthen communities and enhance mobility across the region. 

Egis acquired BLN in 2023. 

Founded in 1994, RockSol Consulting Group built a reputation for delivering innovative geotechnical engineering, construction management, materials testing, and infrastructure consulting services for transportation agencies, municipalities, and public sector clients throughout the western United States. 

Known for its technical expertise and collaborative approach, RockSol helps clients deliver resilient infrastructure by providing practical solutions throughout the project lifecycle—from planning and design support to construction oversight and asset management. 

Egis acquired RockSol 2025. 

Established in 1954, Green International Affiliates, Inc. (Green) is a New England-based surface transportation, water resources, and civil/site engineering company with seven decades of experience serving municipalities, regional authorities, state Departments of Transportation (DOTs), federal agencies, and private sector clients. 

Lochner acquired Green in 2025.  

Founded in 2003, Triunity delivers best-in-class program/project management and controls, construction management, and specialized communication systems/electrical engineering services for transit and rail agencies, as well as road and highway, aviation, water and wastewater, and municipal clients throughout the U.S. 

Lochner acquired Triunity in 2023.  

K Friese + Associates is a civil engineering consultant providing water/wastewater, drainage, transportation, aviation, and municipal services to a diverse range of public sector clients in large and small communities throughout the State of Texas. 

Lochner acquired K Friese + Associates in 2023.  

KOA Corporation provides transportation engineering, mobility planning, and construction management services for public agencies and private clients. The company’s multidisciplinary team delivers safe, accessible, and sustainable transportation solutions across all modes, supporting some of Southern California’s largest and most complex infrastructure programs. 

Lochner acquired KOA Corporation in 2022.  

Armstrong Consultants specializes exclusively in airport planning, engineering, and construction administration services. Serving the airport community since 1985, Armstrong has completed over 3,000 improvement projects at more than 130 airports, ranging from small rural general aviation airports to business jet executive airports, commercial service airports, and military airfields throughout the western United States.
